read quite a lot online, and was always that person asking, "Did you read the piece in...?" So in 2014, I started a newsletter to have people to talk about great writing with.

Since, it's evolved to a mix of top weekly pieces of longform journalism, cultural think-pieces and features, cool Internet finds (recipes, books), and music. It skews liberal, feminist, pop-cultural, literary, and punny. It aims to be a reference for reliably great reading (or listening) for people who don't spend a lot of time on media Internet, or don't have the time to comb the web for something that strikes them. It has a sizeable following and is now on Substack, where you can read all past weeks.
